Pick it up

I saw a lady walking her dog on the sidewalk on Highway 90. It was bad enough that she allowed it to poop on the grass, but she didn’t pick it up. If dogs are like your children, would you let your child do that and not clean up afterward?

He said what?

I have to be honest: While I believed President Trump didn’t care about me, and every other average American, I never thought he’d actually say it.

Trump’s words

President Trump said in response to a question about the effect the Iranian war has on Americans’ economy; “I don’t care about the American economic situation. I don’t care about anybody”. End quote.

Oops

Donald Trump messed up by stating he never thinks about Americans’ financial situation when it comes to Iran. What he meant was he never thinks about it ... ever. Unless your name is “ballroom” or “golden monument,” you’re invisible.

What do you want?

You’re mad when he lies, and you’re mad when he tells the truth. What, exactly, should President Trump say?

Can’t wait

I haven’t seen Democrats this excited about an election since the last presidential election. Can’t wait to hear the complaints and excuses when your candidates bomb again.

Oil math

I’ve been trying to wrap my head around the recent surge in fuel prices. From what I understand, about 20% of the world’s oil supply passes through the Strait of Hormuz, and the U.S. only uses around 2% of that oil. Despite this, we’ve seen fuel prices here jump by 44%. While I’ll admit I don’t have a background in mathematics or economics, it seems like our price increases should correspond more closely to the small percentage of oil we actually receive from that region, roughly 2%. Could someone help me understand why the price increase is so dramatic, even though our direct reliance on oil from the Strait of Hormuz is relatively minor?
