Fuel prices
Does anyone know why diesel fuel is more expensive than gasoline now? It used to be much cheaper than gas.
Why, Gulfport?
What in the world is wrong with Gulfport? For nine years a study has existed that clearly states there are better ways to relieve traffic congestion than the proposed “connector.“ Furthermore, this court-approved purchase takes land out of conservation. And, development in the wetlands ensures increased flooding for the Turkey Creek residents. Listen to logic, Gulfport
Whether the weather
Politicians taxing me, gas prices rising, toilet paper hoarding, the Apocalypse, and people hitting me with a coconut thrown from a Mardi Gras float make me mad. But you know what really grinds my gears? Sparklight cable service. Hurricane season is knocking on our door, and they remove a big defense we have for avoiding tragedy: The Weather Channel. They say it’s the money-grubbing monsters at The Weather Channel demanding Sparklight pay them for their channel. Now we have to get another streaming service like Hulu, Fubo or Roku and then pay $30 to get the Weather Channel app. I believe the money grubbing Sparklight management is to blame. They make plenty of money as a protected utility, which may be why they don’t care about us
Thanks, moms
As America approaches its 250th birthday, we celebrate the women whose love, strength, and sacrifice helped shape our families and our nation. Like Lady Liberty, the “Mother of Freedom,” mothers carry the torch that guides, inspires, and gives hope to future generations. This Mother’s Day, we honor the mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures who represent the very spirit of America. Happy Mother’s Day, and happy 250th birthday, America.
Where are the other files?
So now with the release of some of the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon (UAP) files, “Trump is focused on providing maximum transparency to the public, who can ultimately make up their own minds about the information contained in these files.” There’s another set of files that this rational approach could apply to as well.
Ballroom response
The White House ballroom never existed? For decades presidents have held state dinners which were followed by entertainment and dancing (music usually provided by a military band). Were the dances held on the White House roof?
‘I did that’
Our gas prices locally are inching up to $4 a gas. Just two years ago Biden was being ripped for $3 gas. Now Republicans are saying it’s a necessary evil or that we don’t control the price of oil. What a difference a year and Republican administration make.
