Sounding off on profiteering, bullies, the Department of Justice and more

Profiteering

I remember when there was a lot of criticism about Hunter Biden using his father’s influence in Ukraine. Now the Trump siblings and son-in-law are looting our treasury by benefiting from private contracts and gifts.

No thanks

A fully automated restaurant is nothing more than an oversized vending machine.

Bullies

It’s hard not to notice how quickly tensions escalate between world leaders. For instance, the German Chancellor made a despairing remark about Trump one day, and almost immediately after, Trump imposed a 25% tariff on the EU. This sequence of actions seems more like retaliation than the diplomatic dialogue we expect from heads of state. It raises the question — are these leaders behaving as diplomats, or does it seem more like two bullies exchanging blows on the playground? The impact of these quick, reactive decisions can be felt far beyond politics, affecting economies and international relationships.

DOJ

To dispute what one poster wrote, Democrats for the most part are not hot under the collar because James Comey was indicted. The problem arises when Donald Trump treats the DOJ like his own personal stable of lawyers, only there to go after his perceived enemies, and throwing the fairness and independence of the agency out the window.

Support the president

There are simply too many Democrats whose only goal is to attack our president.

Let us govern

The Democrats need to stop holding up Congress and get on with doing the work the majority of Americans voted for them to do.

Cuba next?

Our president is about to attack and take over Cuba. My condolences to the families that lose members in what has to be only an ego boost. There is no other reason for this to happen.
