How many?

Would it be asking too much for our U.S. representatives to know how many world wars there have been?

Somali schools

I guess they teach a different world history in Somalia. One where there have been nine more world wars than we have been involved in.

I remember

I remember when folks went crazy over President Trump saying “Two Corinthians.” Let’s not lose the intensity over U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar and her eleven world wars.

Hospital charge

My first hospital experience was a real eye-opener, and today I received a bill from Memorial Hospital at Gulfport for a 10-day stay ... in April of 2024. Is there some reason it takes a full two years to prepare a bill that they demand I pay in three weeks? Are they that incompetent or is this their shady method of hoping I can’t remember every pill, injection and procedure, so I can’t logically dispute the bill?

Let’s build it

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense that the White House should have a dedicated room where large events can be held safely.

Sorry, everybody

Much like Tucker Carlson and many other MAGA believers, I have come to regret my vote for Donald Trump. I truly don’t understand how he could campaign on very specific things and then immediately make decisions against them.

America First

Maybe in 2028 we’ll have a no-new-foreign-wars America First candidate who can hold to that promise for more than a year or two.

Good luck

Things are looking so bad for the Republicans in the upcoming election that the Supreme Court has had to weigh in to try and help out. That’s when you know things are looking bleak.

GOP in charge

The Republicans are in charge of the U.S. House, the U.S. Senate and we have a Republican president. So far, the conservatives have managed to do ... pretty much nothing to make life better for the average American.

Congress 101

Truth to Power? Here is some truth for the ignorant masses. Yes, the Republicans have a simple majority in the Senate and House. With 100 seats in the Senate, 53 are held by Republicans. 60 votes are necessary to pass a bill with no resistance, meaning 7 Democrats must vote yes. Hopefully, that can clear the air on who is holding up progress in the government. You must drift away from liberal propaganda to know the truth.

Cost of war

The Pentagon says the Iran War will cost $25 billion. That is not what we voted for. What happened to America first? They must have meant first in defense for world dominance. We are looking like bullies who can’t play with others.

It’s OK for him, I guess

Before we vilify a comedian with an insignificant late night show, let’s all think back to the time when Donald Trump (and his number one son) were so hilarious when they joked about the hammer attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband. Just another example of Trump teaching us the meaning of the word “hypocrite.”
