Death penalty

I oppose the death penalty. You might ask me if someone I loved were murdered, wouldn’t I want the killer to die? To that, I would say “yes.” But I want a government that’s better than I am.

He said what?

President Trump called on Americans to “recommit with their hearts and resolve their differences peacefully.” So now the arsonist wants everyone else to stop setting fires?

Good neighbors

Saturday morning’s storm winds left the top half of a giant water oak and its heavy branches across my driveway. But, by sundown, it had been chopped and chainsawed into submission. I have the awesomest, wonderfulest, most amazing neighbors in Gulfport — no, that’s wrong — in the world.

Different rules

If I cross state lines, drink and drive, and act like an absolute fool on the road, can I get off with no legal consequences? Of course not, because I’m not a police officer.

Saddle up

This nation, from top to bottom, inside and out, small communities to big cities, better get a law enforcement handle on crime. The horrific crimes being committed by illegal aliens, drug induced insanity, repeat violent offenders, criminal gangs, roving bands of shoplifters, increasing homeless encampments complete with all kinds of filth and degradation, on and on, all of it unchecked and supported by cowardly government policies, prosecutors and judges is rampant by any measure. The solution is aggressive enforcement. Take the wolves out of the sheep pen. Remove them from society without apology and without constantly finding ridiculous justifications and excuses for their behavior.

It’s funny?

So a liberal that thinks it is funny and confusing about all the MAGA infighting. Conservatives often debate and have different opinions on matters. They talk things out and come to the best conclusion. Sometimes they don’t agree. Liberals however, are told what they are allowed to think and say. There can be no arguing or debate with the hive mind. You obey what the fascist Democrats tell you, or you are cast out. I understand how debates can bewilder zombie liberals.

Social security

My sister has dementia. She received a noticed that her Plan B will no longer be paid by SS and will be charged $204 a month from her already meager SS account. Now Trump wants to refurbish the Lincoln Memorial which has already been done by Obama. He chooses to spend money everywhere except on benefits for taxpayers, using our money like it’s his own bank account
