Bondi out

The good news is that bungling Pam Bondi is out. The bad news is that Donald Trump will find another bootlicker just as loyal and willing to continue the enormous waste of time and money involved in the political persecution of his so-called enemies. This will also provide a great new excuse for never getting to the bottom of the Epstein files.

Bye bye, Bondi

The weaponizing of the Department of Justice has taken a short setback. Pam Bondi took her orders directly from President Trump, instead of being independent. She told all his lies, hid the Epstein files, and tried to prosecute the innocent, like ex-FBI Director Comey, and Attorney General James. Many have wised up to the corruptness of the office, even Republicans. Bondi paid the price for her blind loyalty but will now have a lucrative job in the private sector.

Get ready

I’m seeing an awful lot of celebrating over the removal of Pam Bondi. You might want to be careful as to what you wish for. There are plenty of highly qualified Republicans ready to fill her spot. And I’m sure the Democrats will do nothing but complain about them, too.

Democrats

It seems to me that the Democrats’ political strategy has been to try to make Americans as miserable as they are.

No Kings

Has anyone else noticed that the main people who seek nonstop attention are Democrats? Congratulations on yet another No Kings rally. It’s going to be a long four years, huh?

On repeat

How many times do we have to post that we already show IDs at the polls? This is a non-issue designed to make it harder to vote for some. Another fact, immigrants cannot vote already by law. The incidents of fraud are minuscule. No illegal will risk being deported so they can vote. Stop with the stupidity, please.

Voting

Maybe I’m unusual, but I feel the same way about voter ID as I do about global warming. Democrats keep saying that, even if there isn’t global warming, it’s a good thing to do things that prevent it. I agree. I’ll suggest that even if there isn’t rampant voter fraud, it’s a good thing to do things that prevent it.

The first word in illegal immigration

I, for the life of me, can’t understand how so many people keep screaming “but they didn’t break any laws” when referring to illegal immigrants who haven’t committed any crimes since arriving in America. Newsflash: Their very arrival was a crime. So it is quite literally impossible for there to be an illegal immigrant who hasn’t committed a crime.

Culture of abuse

How does a teacher abuse a minor for years and everyone, including administrators, seemed to know? We have built a culture that devalues women and where men feel entitled to abuse them. Is this a left-over tradition that laws have not dealt with, and law enforcers turn a blind eye? What happened to a man being the protector of women and children.

Punish them

If it turns out that everyone knew about the student being abused by the teacher, then punish every single person involved. And bury the teacher under the prison.

Birthright distortion

The Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution was never meant as a loophole. It was written after the Civil War to secure citizenship for freed slaves — people fully under U.S. jurisdiction and allegiance — not for those here illegally or exploiting birth tourism. The Supreme Court has never clearly declared automatic citizenship in these cases, and early rulings tie the amendment to that original purpose. Citizenship is a legal bond, not a byproduct of crossing a border. Restoring that meaning protects the rule of law, fairness to legal immigrants, it is pro-law, pro-fairness, and essential to preserving the integrity of American citizenship.

Military skills

When Pete Hegseth emphasized push-ups and waistlines as military criteria, he might have given more consideration to strategic brainpower. The generals and admirals knew what to do about Hormuz if he’d have only listened.
