Great job

Applause and kudos to Keesler Federal Credit Union for implementing their paycheck relief program locally to TSA employees. That is tangible, star-spangled community service. KFCU ambassadors personally taking the relief overture to TSA employees’ awareness at Gulfport Airport is classy.

Iran

Iran is still causing mass destruction and striking targets all over the Middle East, so who are the naive people that keep writing in saying Iran’s military capabilities have been wiped out? Probably the same people who are still expecting Donald Trump to cut their electric bill in half.

Finish the job

Iran’s continued attacks on neighbors and the world economy are further proof as to the importance of the job we are doing. Kudos to the Trump administration for their willingness to do the difficult job.

We won?

It’s a sorry state of affairs when we can’t believe what our president says. He’s said multiple times that we’ve won the war. The closure of the strait and continued bombing of Israel make it clear that this is not the case. If we’ve won, why are we sending Marines and the 82nd Airborne towards Iran?

Global warming

Can we say “global warming” again instead of just the neutral expression “climate change”? Change can be good or bad. Our planet is burning up; that is bad. We were warned by scientists that this was coming, but big money shut down the conversation. We really need to listen to science again.

Let’s go

Sure would be nice of the minority party would let the majority party govern. I mean, that’s what the majority of the country voted for, right?

Is this us?

A University of Colorado analysis confirmed that just 37% of ICE arrests in Trump’s first 10 months involved people with criminal convictions, down from 70% during his first term. Is this what we have become? My friend’s housekeeper, who has never committed any crime, has been detained and sent somewhere. My friend does not know where. She is among thousands who are just hardworking people who want a better life.
