Who to believe?

President Trump says negotiations are underway with Iran, and Iran says that’s not true. It’s painful and devastating that our leader is such a known liar and so untrustworthy that you should probably believe Iran before you believe him.

I’m so confused

We’re weeks in and I have no idea why we really attacked Iran, how successful or unsuccessful it was, what is happening now and what the end goal really is.

Winning

Iran’s ability to wage war against America and Iran’s neighbors has been all but wiped out. That’s a big win and something that should have happened years ago.

Priorities

I’m glad that with the country at war and the economy reeling, the president was able to find time to visit Graceland. Gotta have priorities.

Shutdown

The Democrats can’t win at the ballot box, so their entire plan seems to be to make sure the Republicans aren’t allowed to govern.

It’s the Dems?

So the Republican strategy is to hope that people believe the party that doesn’t control the presidency, Senate, House, or Supreme Court is responsible for government dysfunction?

Directly from FOX News

Republican Sen. John Kennedy admitted on FOX News that the Republicans and Democrats reached a deal to fund TSA, but Trump said, “No. No deals with the Democrats.” Kennedy said, “It would have worked. We could have had TSA paid by the end of the week.”

Shutdown pay

So TSA isn’t getting paid during the government shutdown. Can I assume that our wonderful legislators are still getting paid?

Speak of the dead

President Trump’s public statement about the death of Robert Mueller was, “Good, I’m glad he is dead.” Y’all better not get upset when it’s his turn and people celebrate.

I remember

Are you old enough to remember the online mob that attacked anyone who even remotely spoke ill of Charlie Kirk upon his death?

No complaining

When the party begins upon our current president’s demise, don’t be mad. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander.

Make him dictator, already

If we are supposed to go along with everything President Trump does, then we just need to make him dictator. Modern-day kings must answer to a governing body. So, not a king. But a dictator does whatever he wants, and we must obey or be silenced.
