No hate here
Not everyone who opposes President Trump‘s activities hates him. I am a Christian and I pray for him daily. Christians don’t hate him or anyone else. I am an ultraconservative, so stop saying that it’s only Democrats who oppose Trump’s wrongdoings. I also pray for those who are blind to Trump‘s errors to be able to see.
What we want
Speaking for myself and, I suspect, many others who are constantly critical of Donald Trump, we do not want him to fail, we do not want our country to struggle, and we do not want the world to be a less safe place. What we do want is a leader who is dignified and respectful, who is coherent and serious and who spends our tax dollars on hungry children, homeless veterans and health care in this country instead of strong-arming foreign countries and frivolously, unnecessarily and expensively renaming and remodeling all of Washington, D.C., in his gold image.
TSA help
TSA employees are not being paid and lines at some airports are very long causing people to miss their flights, and airlines canceling flights. Keesler Federal Credit Union is stepping up. KFCU is offering TSA employees in their service areas advance pay with no fees or interest. Employees can now come back to work knowing they will be paid, alleviating stress for all. This is a great service to our community and members during difficult times.
Shutdown
Again, we are in a shutdown. It is so prevalent now that we have categorized it as a partial shutdown. The issue is over reform of ICE and how it functions. The Republicans don’t want any change, and Democrats do, so they won’t vote to fund DHS. Now, TSA and Coast Guard employees are not being paid, but ICE agents are. So, we are sacrificing these employees to keep ICE as it is.
Dems again
The voters of America chose to put Republicans in charge, regardless of what Democrats want. And, despite this, the Democrats are shutting down the government, rather than allow the duly and properly elected officials to do their jobs.
What is happening?
So, President Trump said he would not involve the U.S. in foreign wars, and then he starts one. He said that prices would come down in his administration. Well, thanks to his tariffs and his war, they have gone up. How’s that going for you?
Israel
Israel invaded Gaza to wipe out terrorists killing thousands, destroying their homes and way or life. Now tell me who the terrorists are.
