NIL and priorities

So if it becomes law, NIL income received in Mississippi will not be subject to state income taxes. As I understand the reasoning is to attract athletes to state universities. The news reported the day before that the teacher pay raise failed to move forward because the state House and Senate could not agree and evidently decided not to even meet in committee by a deadline date and vote on it. I guess they would rather attract football and basketball players than teachers.

Fox Weather Live is an app that you can get on your TV or phone. It is free and has very comprehensive weather reporting. It’s as good or better than The Weather Channel.

The azaleas of Diamondhead are pretty and very plentiful. They are gorgeous and blooming like crazy.

Affordability

We know a lot of people aren’t crazy about President Trump and his personality. However, what exactly is the Democrats’ plan to attack affordability? Democrats, please make your plans available to us so we can compare. Hope it’s not just to tax the wealthy. That won’t work. Limited government spending would be a start.

Under President Obama, the Iranian navy captured U.S. sailors and forced them to kneel in humiliation for propaganda videos. I prefer President Trump’s approach to the Iranian navy.

Death to America

Apparently you can only chant “Death to America” for so many years before we have a president with the backbone to do something about it.

We’re waiting

The stock market is tanking, gas prices are spiking, the DHS Secretary was just fired after lying under oath to Congress, prices keep going up, Trump refuses to refund tariffs despite a SCOTUS decision, and we are in another war in the Middle East. When does the winning start?

GOP votes

The votes cast by Senators Wicker and Hyde-Smith against reining in President Trump and his ill-conceived war against Iran has convinced me to never vote for an incumbent Republican again. They simply cannot be trusted to do what is right.

Ridiculous

Pete Hegseth said the “fake media” reported the deaths of American soldiers just to make Donald Trump look bad. Really, were they supposed to keep it a secret, so the president looks good? Hegseth’s attitude needs a major adjustment.

Seems all that America First chatter was ... just another line.
