Driving while rich
On the national evening news, we see Vince McMahon driving his Bentley over 100 mph, hitting a car and a guardrail, and hear Tom Llamas say his reckless driving charge will be dropped under a pre-trial probation program. The rich and famous live under different rules than you and me.
Super work
Not long after some of our “best people” at Customs and Border Patrol shot down a bunch of party balloons, creating a national incident, we’ve got another whopper. The U.S. military used a laser Thursday to shoot down a “seemingly threatening” drone flying near the U.S.-Mexico border. It turned out the drone belonged to Customs and Border Protection, lawmakers said.
Only the best
Hard to believe a military led by DUI hire Pete Hegseth would shoot down a drone belonging to ... our own government.
Skynet
Did nobody watch the Terminator movies? To recap: The U.S. military just used a laser to shoot down a U.S. Border Patrol drone, while the Pentagon is demanding that AI safeguards be dismantled to allow fully autonomous weapons. Maybe the Pentagon needs more safeguards, not less.
BOY Scouts
Kudos to the Trump Administration for making moves to make Scouting USA something at least somewhat closer to what it should never have been changed from: Boy Scouts USA.
Scouting
Adding girls to Boy Scouts was a solution in search of a problem. Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are each stronger as separate and exclusive organizations.
Who’s next?
Many men are resigning over their association with Epstein, the child trafficker. Yet our president won’t testify under oath and the DOJ is hiding his involvement. If Trump is innocent, then testify under oath and quit deflecting.
