Inappropriate

Anyone who screams out while the president is speaking during a State of the Union address should never be allowed to attend a State of the Union for the rest of their life. The State of the Union is neither the time nor the place that those kinds of antics.

Shut up

I’m curious as to the thought process that goes into blurting out while the president is giving his State of the Union address. Do you think that, suddenly, thousands of Americans will say to themselves “gosh, she really has a point.”?

Drain the swamp

Yes, I’m aware that Rep. Joe Wilson started the recent trend of interrupting the president during the State of the Union. But is it really too much to ask our congressmen and congresswomen to show just the slightest bit of decorum?

Illegal immigration

Trump Supporters: People who are here illegally need to be deported because they are breaking the law. Therefore, I support ICE. The Rest of Us: People who are here illegally need to be deported, but according to the law. Any person on U.S. soil is entitled to a fair trial. Not one of these people have had access to a phone call, let alone a fair trial. Until ICE follows this law, I do not support them, nor should any other law-abiding citizen.

Recovery

President Trump is like a pesticide person, dealing with a severe termite infestation in a building. He has to eradicate the termites infestation first (illegal criminal immigrants) and then try to rebuild the structure even better. Some of the previous administrations created many mistakes, and now we will have to deal with the recovery. It may take time to rebuild.

Iran

During the Obama administration we had an international agreement that may not have been perfect, but limited enrichment of uranium and provided for oversight. President Trump scrapped that in his first term, and now we’re on the brink of war with a nation of 90 million people.

MAGA loyalty

Sen. Hyde-Smith is running a campaign ad where she brags that she is 100% MAGA. Shouldn’t she be 100% for her constituents? Her loyalty should be to people of Mississippi not Trump personally.
