What an incredible postgame interview by Jack Hughes, who scored the gold-medal-winning goal for Team USA. Loved hearing how much it meant to him and how much he loved his country.

I guess for the next four years hockey is an American sport. We win the Stanley Cup every year and now we have the men’s and women’s gold medals.

Sad day for democracy

It’s a sad day when the Supreme Court is criticized by President Trump, who called them “disloyal to the Constitution” and an “embarrassment.” Apparently, the rule of law and Constitution mean nothing to this president.

Make America Great Again

America is great. Shame on President Trump for saying it isn’t.

It’s always men

South Mississippi is lacking women leaders in the companies here. Do companies even promote their women employees anymore? All I keep seeing is men getting promoted into the top positions. What happened to diversity in the workplace? The coliseum just hired a man. The aquarium just promoted a man, etc. etc.

A Sound Off writer complained about Keesler Federal’s Million Dollar Member Giveback, saying that erases credit card debt for hundreds of its members, and that all members should receive giveback. If you search “Keesler Federal Givebacks” you’ll find all active users of Keesler Federal’s products and services receive giveback in some form of benefit year-round. No one compares. It’s “people helping people.” That’s why national and local publications have rated it a top credit union. Compare it to a bank.
