Manslaughter
Four ICE agents took down a woman in Minneapolis. A VA nurse tried to calm the situation. As a result the male nurse was immediately taken down by 5 ICE agents. He was licensed to carry a weapon which was under his coat. He was beaten, disarmed and then shot 10 times at close range. Sec. Noem should be fired for clearly lying to the public. This wasn’t just an illegal freedom of speech comment, it was complicit in trying to cover-up visual manslaughter.
Stormtrooper
The resemblance between Border Patrol Chief Greg Bovino and the Nazi Stormtroopers (Brownshirts) is unsettling — not just in uniform, but in behavior. Militarized aesthetics, excessive insignia, and theatrical displays of force aren’t about law or service; they’re about intimidation and dominance. The Brownshirts existed to terrorize opponents, normalize violence, and project power through spectacle. When modern law enforcement adopts the same visual language and tactics — paramilitary posturing, public intimidation, ritualized aggression — it echoes that authoritarian playbook. History rarely repeats itself exactly, but it often rhymes. Democracies do not collapse overnight; they erode when intimidation is tolerated and when force is celebrated over service. That is the lesson worth remembering.
It’s clear as day
Watch from at least four different angles with your own eyes as four ICE agents surround a man, put him on the ground, confiscate his weapon and then-and then-shoot him. Now tell me this was justified.
Kash Patel
The Trump Administration has an awful lot of incompetent members, but I think Kash Patel might just take the cake. We’re not allowed to legally carry a weapon to a protest? That seems ... new.
Criminals
Everyone approves of the removing of criminal immigrants. No sane person can approve of 5 ICE agents taking down a woman. Even worse, defending the murder of a critical care nurse who worked at the VA. What happened to investigations, subpoenas and rule of law? These are lawless attacks based upon skin color.
Which is worse?
It sounds ridiculous to say (and maybe that’s because it is), but I’m honestly not sure which is worse: The killing of the nurse in Minnesota, or Sec. Noem and Gregory Bovino looking straight into the camera and telling the world that the nurse was there to “massacre law enforcement.”
Trump succeeded again
Notice the news about the Epstein files is at a minimum these days. President Trump’s actions in Venezuela, threats against Greenland, threats against Iran, etc, etc. have largely pushed that issue off the front page. This was (and is) the goal all along. And where are the Epstein files?
Enough
What is it, three people in this country that care about the Epstein files?
Good riddance
I was happy to see some Hollywood elitists are slowly trickling out of the good old USA. I’m sure there are still many flights leaving daily with plenty seats available. Adios.
Good job
I rarely approve of legislation from our state representatives, but the rejection of school vouchers I applaud. Using taxpayers money to fund private schools that don’t want to be regulated is wrong.
Immigration
Please provide a path for law-abiding, undocumented immigrants to a legal status that would allow them to work and pay taxes. Then city police would more likely support removing illegal immigrant criminals. We need immigrants.
Send them home
I don’t understand why it is so difficult to realize that if you entered this country illegally, of your own volition, you should be sent back to where you came from.
