Liquor warehouse problems

Problems with delivery from the Mississippi liquor warehouse? Solution: Get rid of the warehouse concept. No need for the state to be running a warehouse when the liquor wholesalers already do. Also, we don’t need ABC deciding what we can and cannot buy. C’mon Legislature, get with the times.

Conflicting messages

President Trump’s justification for war with Iran collapses under the weight of his own rhetoric. After the earlier June 2026 strikes, he boasted that Iran’s nuclear facilities had been “completely and totally obliterated.” Now, to defend the current war, he claims Iran was just two weeks away from building a nuclear weapon and eager to use it—without offering public evidence. Those messages cannot both be true. If the threat was already eliminated, why the new war? And if the danger was truly imminent, why has the administration been so thin on proof? That contradiction, along with the steady stream of exaggeration and misinformation, helps explain why so few countries are eager to follow Washington’s lead in securing the Strait of Hormuz. When the case for war keeps changing, distrust is the natural response.

Illegal votes

It is so sad that the Democrats would rather turn their backs on American citizen than give up their votes from illegal aliens.

Fear mongers

I was hoping that this year Black students could visit our beaches in peace, like every other tourist. Stay home or avoid Highway 90 for two days.

Your responsibility

The south side of Victory Street in Gulfport could be maintained better by the ground crew at GHS. I’m still waiting for someone to move the shopping cart.

Same ol’ thing

Rep. Ezell is just like Palazzo in that he stopped answering to the public by not having any town halls. Same result should happen, let’s vote him out like we did Steve.

Biden’s war?

A Sound Off referenced the Ukraine War as “Biden’s War.” The world news at the time clearly showed that the war had started with a Vladimir Putin-inspired Russian invasion. For someone to claim it to be “Biden’s War” shows the divisive degree of cultism and Biden Derangement Syndrome that President Trump has created in this country.
