Tragic deaths

I couldn’t agree more with the posts blasting President Trump for his despicable comments about the tragic death of Rob Reiner. Thousands cheered the death of Charlie Kirk. I assume everyone who posted about Trump also posted something similar about the ones cheering Kirk’s tragic death.

Now you’re mad?

There were thousands of people celebrating the death of Charlie Kirk. And I don’t remember as many people in Sound Off being upset about the Internet’s response to his killing.

Believe him

I don’t think we learned anything about President Trump in his response to the death of Rob Reiner. He has shown you what type of person he is over and over again. At some point, it’s time to believe him.

A cover-up

In regards to the release of the video showing the second hit on the destroyed drug boat and its survivors, Sec. Hegseth says “of course we’re not going to release a Top Secret full unedited video to the public.” As a previous military Top Secret Control Officer, release of this video will not cause “grave damage” (the definition of Top Secret information, if compromised) to national security, but rather is an act to cover-up for their war crimes. This administration continues to rely on, and exploit, the naiveness of the public.

Why red?

I am a snowbird from a northern blue state, who lives here part-time. When I tell Northern people that I bought a house here, just about everyone asks me why I would buy in Mississippi. We have had thirty years of Republican leadership here, and what have we gained? We are a welfare state. We do not have enough money to operate, so blue states give us their extra money. My question is, why wouldn’t voters here try voting for a Democratic governor since we are not, nor have been, doing well under Republican governors? When Plan A is not working, shouldn’t Plan B be considered?

I read the story about Border Patrol capturing five people who fled from a traffic stop in Jackson County. I’d like to commend everyone involved in their capture.

If fentanyl is the problem ...

If we are going to invade Venezuela for killing Americans with drug shipments, then by the same reasoning we should also invade China, because that is where the fentanyl comes from.
