Never quit

Congratulations to Gulfport. What a perfect example of why you never quit. The Admirals went the length of the field in 20 seconds to win a state title. Incredible.

Congratulations

I’m a fan of another school, but how cool was it to see Gulfport win the state title over the defending champ, and to do it the way it did?

Hail State

You mean to tell me Mississippi State is going to have both the running backs from that state championship game? What a great job of recruiting.

Prayer answered

I have seen some incredible things in my life, but seeing Gulfport win a state championship on a Hail Mary after Tupelo scored a touchdown with less than 30 seconds left takes the cake.

Greatest game ever?

I don’t know if that was the greatest game ever played by a Coast team, but I sure can’t remember a greater one.

Wages and inflation

Yes, wages are rising; some prices are going down. Hooray! But overall inflation is rising even faster. Boo! And so it is and always will be, folks. It’s a rigged game. Rigged against most of us in favor of the wealthy and powerful. Your best hope to not drown in these rough waters is to do something that the wealthy and powerful want you to do. And I hope you are capable of doing that because if you aren’t, your situation will probably be desperate.

Are we that dumb?

Listening to Sen. Tom Cotton say that the two survivors of the first boat strike that killed 9 on impact were trying to right the boat and continue their mission so they deserved to die in a “righteous” strike is just beyond crazy.
