Make it make sense

Let’s see: We are getting ready to attack Venezuela because their president is allegedly running a drug cartel. Now, our president is promising a pardon for the president of Honduras, who was convicted in a U.S. court of smuggling 450 tons and sentenced to 45 yrs in a U.S. prison. Figure that one out.

Where’s the line?

If President Trump pardons the former Honduran president convicted of drug trafficking, what does that make us? We are supposedly stopping immigrants who bring drugs, but we support the person who supplies the drugs

Double standard

The loudest voices demanding the military “refuse illegal orders” can’t cite a single example of such an order. Not one. Yet they repeat the warning like a mantra, as if repetition alone will conjure up misconceived wrongdoing out of thin air. Meanwhile, the very same people issuing this sanctimonious lecture are ignoring governors, mayors, and police chiefs who openly refuse to enforce laws they personally dislike—real laws, actually on the books—while insisting that this selective abdication of duty is somehow virtuous.

Time out

I’ll freely admit it — voting for Trump was a mistake. I never imagined he’d turn out to be this condescending, childish, autocratic, and downright disrespectful. Joe Biden may have slowed down in his final years as president, but no one deserves the humiliation and vitriol Trump hurls at him. Posting a picture of Biden’s autopen in the White House “Presidential Walk of Fame”? That’s not leadership — it’s pettiness on parade. Trump isn’t just acting like a playground bully; he’s becoming a genuine threat to our republic. My parents taught me a simple rule: If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything. Maybe it’s time someone grounded Trump — or at least put him in a presidential time-out.

Both guilty

Both President Obama and President Trump are responsible for Ukraine’s demise. Obama because he allowed Putin to cross the “red line” in Crimea and Trump for not responding in kind to Putin’s daily bombing of the defenseless. Putin would negotiate if we gave Ukraine long range missiles against Russia. Instead, he allows a democracy, and NATO friendly country to be destroyed. These peace talks are all gaslighting. Putin has no reason to stop.

The first step ...

If you’ll just look in the mirror and repeat “I have TDS” 3 times, I promise you will feel better. Try this once daily for starters. If no effect, try it twice a day. It will help.

Obama’s accomplishments

I just read on Sound Off that President Obama was a “worthless president” who made racism worse. How was he worthless? His two most controversial acts were wearing a tan suit and preferring Dijon mustard. Do you remember? If you don’t remember, you need to Google it, and also ask Google what his accomplishments were.
