Fire Lane

Lane Kiffin should be fired for the way he has treated his team and the athletic department that gave him the chance to coach in the big time again. Publicly flirting with LSU and Florida while coaching a national championship contender should be unacceptable.

We’ll get them

One of Donald Trump’s legal team said: “President Trump will continue to hold accountable those who traffic in lies, deception, and fake news.” Good grief, that describes Trump himself perfectly. What unbridled irony.

Immigration

I keep hearing people complaining that many of the illegal immigrants arrested by ICE haven’t committed any crimes. Newsflash: Their being here is a crime.

Support ICE

Anyone making it harder for ICE to do its job should be arrested. If they want to take photos and video to ensure the law is being followed, that’s fine. But to use it to make enforcing the law harder should be an arrestable offense.

Deflect

The daily dose of Trump’s trumpeting of his peace deal is nothing but gaslighting and deflection. The few details left to be worked are in fact the biggest issues, like Ukraine giving up large portions of its country and future security guarantees.

Look out, Taiwan

I can’t believe that China, having seen how the U.S. has “supported” Ukraine, hasn’t invaded Taiwan already. Clearly a couple of nice words and a few dollars are enough to keep the current administration from defending democracy.

Thanksgiving

I don’t know about you, but my Thanksgiving sure did cost a lot more this year.
