The king speaks
When President Trump criticizes people for saying that military members should not follow illegal orders, what he is saying, by implication, is that military members should follow all orders, including illegal orders. That is presumably because if an order comes from the president it is thereby immediately made legal. Which is, of course, how a divine-right king, a dictator, thinks and speaks. Not a Constitutional American.
Sanctuary cities
Nobody in South Mississippi wants a sanctuary city near us. The closest thing we have is Moss Point and it’s a crime riddled disaster. The mayor of Moss Point defunded the police all by himself. They can’t hire police officers because it’s too dangerous.
ICE
Immigration and Customs Enforcement is coming to a job site near you. It’s time for justice to be served in South Mississippi.
WWJD?
Watching Speaker Johnson and others who profess to be Christians take health care food assistance from the most needy among us I had an epiphany. I remember a photo of a lot of “faith leaders” laying on hands and praying over President Trump. Turns out several of those pastors believed in he “Prosperity Gospel.” I guess the prosperity gospel means “Go ye amongst the poor and get rich.” Sure seems that way.
This is great?
In recent months, has anyone seen a decline in consumer confidence, a decline in respect for government and a decline in respect for humanity. Is this the “Make America Great Again” plan?
Soup
A Campbell soup executive said their products were poor people’s food. Actually, it’s lazy people’s food. All those green bean recipes use mushroom soup and homemade chicken soup is cheaper and more nutritious.
You broke it
President Trump is giving billions of dollars to farmers to fix a problem he created with his tariffs. Are we supposed to be grateful? It’s all about who has control.
