A salute to all of our tremendous, invaluable, dedicated, selfless and heroic service men and women in all our nation’s military branches. You are the reason this country thrives and our citizens live free. Thank you. The FOX Sports NFL Sunday pre-game recognition of our veterans was extremely well done in honoring the troops. Especially a couple of touching individual tributes that absolutely stirred our pride in all of you.

Go see it

Go see the movie “Nuremberg” with Russell Crowe and Rami Malek. I will be surprised if both of them don’t pick up Oscar nods.

They never learn

So Democrats never learn. The new end of shutdown proposal does not include continuance of healthcare subsidies. What it does include is promise from Republicans to vote on it in December. Now there’s something you can trust. Yikes.

Finally

It’s about time the Democrats woke up (well, at least eight of them) and did what is right for the country and the voters who went to the polls last year.

The king

For years, President Trump has denied his orchestration of the Jan. 6 attempt to overthrow Democracy. Since then, he has fired prosecutors and investigators who simply did their job in bringing charges. He has pardoned the 1,200 violent attackers, and he has now given presidential pardons to his co-conspirators, those that assisted him in his failed fake electorate scheme.

Just because it’s illegal ...

You’re right, illegals aren’t entitled to free healthcare under the law. But, under the law, they’re not even supposed to be in the country. Yet, here they are. Theoretical isn’t reality.

Dead end

Do you really think coal is the answer for our future power needs? Think about it. Workers go deep underground to dig for coal at high risk to their health. That’s like going back to the horse and buggy days because buggy drivers need jobs.
