It’s science
Whooping cough in children has risen in Mississippi. All because politicians and FOX “News” told you vaccinations are bad.
Feds pay
The “right-wing” media is not reporting that illegals are entitled to healthcare. It is the opposite. Every day the Speaker of the House repeats that the Democrats’ addition to the CR will allow illegals to use our health system through visits to the ER. The states pay part of the cost and the federal government pays the remainder.
It’s this easy
All illegals are entitled to health care. All they have to do is walk in the emergency room.
Good to be king
The three branches of government walk into a bar — Executive, Legislative, and Judicial. They get into a fight over who’s in charge. The Judicial gives up immediately — says, ‘We agree with the Executive on everything.’ The Legislative runs out screaming, ‘We’ll do anything the Executive wants as long as we don’t have to work and still get paid.’ And the Executive? He declares himself the winner, buys drinks for his billionaire friends and subjects who pledge their allegiance, and bans everyone else from the bar. The bartender looks around and says, ‘Guess democracy’s closed for the night.’ Then quietly changes the Wi-Fi password to ‘It’sGoodToBeKing123.’
Obamacare
Someone needs to tell President Trump and his cronies that in every poll taken, Obamacare is popular with Americans. Democrat Americans. Independent Americans. And, yes, the majority of Republican Americans. We won’t stand for them doing away with it.
Big Brother
I had the pleasure of attending a “free” event at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center this week — free, that is, until I reached the parking lot. The large, friendly sign announced $10 parking, but with one small catch: no cash accepted. The attendant confirmed it was “card only,” so I dutifully tapped my card — only to discover my total came to $10.70 with tax. What a wonderful reminder that even when something is “free,” the system will find a way to make sure you’re digitally processed, tracked, and charged. How convenient that we no longer need messy, anonymous cash — the banks and government can handle everything for us! At this rate, it won’t be long before every last dollar we spend requires a bank’s blessing. Sleep well, folks — freedom is becoming contactless.
The full story
People love to quote the first half of Ephesians 5:22, about wives submitting to their husbands, but, rarely do they include the rest of the verse and subsequent verses that pertain to it. Paul instructs wives to submit to their husbands “as to the Lord.“ He goes on to instruct husbands to love their wives, “just as Christ loves the church and gave Himself up for her.“ What wife would not want to submit herself to such a loving, godly man?
