Trump vs. Obama?

If President Trump is cleared to run for a third term, I guess ex-president Barack Obama could run also. How about that?

No response

I emailed Rep. Mike Ezell twice and still haven’t heard anything back. I even checked the box on his website asking for a response. Isn’t it his job to listen to taxpayers? Lack of response means lack of votes in his next term. This is what our politicians are doing: ignoring Americans and what we need. It’s unbelievable. Do your job.

Schumer?

In 2013, President Obama was very outspoken about a GOP-led government shutdown stalling passage of the Affordable Care Act. He said no government should do that, but instead it should pay its bills on time. By implication, he was including himself and the Democratic Party as well. That shutdown lasted two weeks. Democrats are entering their second month. Republicans should copy Bueller’s Day Off and call for Schumer?…Schumer?…Schumer?

We got this

I wanted to take a moment to share what our neighborhood is doing to support those in need during the government shutdown. We are organizing a food drive to help those who are struggling during this difficult time. Meanwhile, not to be distracted, King Donald is staying busy with activities like playing golf, hosting fundraisers, attending Halloween parties, and transforming “The Peoples House” into a brothel. While it’s great that he’s is having fun and neglecting his duties as our country’s leader, I just wanted to emphasize that our community is coming together in solidarity to support those who need us the most right now. Relax, we’ve got this covered, and we’ll continue to stand strong and support each other through this crisis.

Fiscal accountability

Since Rep. Mike Ezell was sworn into office on January 3, 2023, the national debt has grown by more than $7 trillion, rising from $31.46 trillion to about $38 trillion. While Ezell campaigned on cutting wasteful spending and restoring fiscal responsibility, his voting record tells a different story. He supported the 2023 debt-ceiling increase and holds only moderate fiscal-conservative ratings from Heritage Action and the Freedom Index. If he truly believes Washington has a spending problem, it’s time for his votes to reflect that belief and for him to fight harder for a real, balanced budget.

Still they stall

Democrats, who were soundly beaten at the ballot box this past November continue to act like they have some kind of mandate from the American people. Ridiculous.

Congress

Congress. Go figure. They can’t make permanent a good law to provide affordable healthcare, but they can’t kill a law that ridiculously makes us change our clocks twice a year.
