Approximately 42 million Americans rely on food stamps that are deposited monthly onto their EBT cards. On November 1st, that assistance is set to end amid the ongoing U.S. government shutdown, potentially leaving households desperate to find ways to put food on the table. Open it up, already

All Democrats have to do is vote yes on the CR and open the government. Sen John Fetterman clearly said that he’s sorry and Democrats have no excuse. They’ll primary him, just watch.

Priorities

The Republicans had absolutely no problem giving billionaires tax breaks that cause our deficit to grow, but apparently the have a problem with not funding SNAP, ACA subsidies and Head Start programs because of the cost. Their priorities are way off base. I hope voters remember this.

Our dear leader

While millions of Americans are skipping meals and losing healthcare, at least the ghost of Abraham Lincoln can now use a restroom that features only the finest gold and marble. Great work, Mr. President.

Irresponsible spending

Congress must stop caving to the “spend money we don’t have” crowd. Democrats are using the food stamp program as leverage to push even more reckless spending, but that program is riddled with fraud and abuse and needs oversight, not expansion. If people can afford tattoos, cigarettes, or sell their benefits for cash, the system is broken. Citizens must contact their representatives now and demand they stand firm — no more compromises, no more waste, and no more debt.

Wake up

So the king of bankruptcy is directing his team to allow medical debt to show up in a credit report. He cares nothing about the working class.

A Republican’s words

Seems like a good time to remind America of Lindsey Graham’s words about President Biden: “If you can’t admire Joe Biden as a person you got a problem. You need to do some self-evaluation. Cause, what’s not to like?”

SNAP

I’m sorry, but when I see SNAP recipients with dyed hair, the latest iPhone and other non-essentials, I wonder what in the world is going on with our system.
