No Kings?
If the U.S. had a king, I doubt there would be anti-king rallies, nor crime-ridden cities, riots or protests. Criminals would be jailed, illegals banished, and free speech limited. Elections would be unnecessary. There would be no deadbeats living off the taxpayers. With the exception of limited free speech, I kind of like that idea.
Hypocrisy
The “No Kings” movement is the height of hypocrisy — a self-proclaimed defense of democracy orchestrated by the very elites who have spent decades insulating themselves from democratic accountability. While they claim to oppose tyranny, their true aim is to preserve the entrenched dominance of the left-wing establishment — the unelected bureaucrats, media power brokers, and academic elites who actually rule without voter consent.
Have fun out there
No Kings, huh? I guess it’s a good thing we don’t have a king, just three layers of government that are all majority Republican. And for good reason. You can keep rallying and Republicans will keep winning elections.
More celebrations
We’ll have our America First celebration next summer when the nation becomes 250 years old.
Spin doctors
Rep. Mike Johnson, the Speaker of the House, a Republican, is now acknowledging that there is already a federal law that illegal immigrants can’t receive Medicaid, Medicare, or Obamacare. But he says the big, beautiful budget bill will reinforce this law, and this is why Republicans won’t negotiate healthcare cuts in this bill! Make sense to you?
Rural roads
My heart goes out to the family of the Jackson County officer killed after he collided with a horse in the road. A while back, someone hit a cow on a rural road. Several pedestrians and bike riders have been killed on our busy rural roads. I can’t help but believe if there were streetlights on rural roads, it would cut back the number of accidents and deaths in our rural areas.
No peace
Israel is still bombing Gaza and Russia is still attacking Ukraine. What am I missing here? The media acts like Trump has already negotiated a ceasefire? Are we ever going to be able to trust what’s being reported?
