The No Kings protest Saturday, June, 14, 2025, in Gulfport drew the largest crowd yet for a rally in the city against the policies and actions of President Donald Trump and his administration. An estimated crowd of 500 or more turned out for the protest, one of more than 2,000 held across the country to counter a military parade in Washington on Trump’s 79th birthday and Flag Day. No kings? No go

I got a text asking me to attend a No Kings riot. I absolutely refused and asked to be taken off their list. The reply was toxic and threatening. There’s nothing peaceful about the left.

Ultimate irony

In response to “Peace Prize” in the sound off that thought it was ironic that a female from Venezuela won the Noble peace prize, it must be really ironic to you that she dedicated it to Donald Trump.

FOX News prep

Typical FOX News is already starting rumors of foreign infiltrators and paid attendance on No Kings Day. Sorry, Fox, it won’t work. These are average Americans, Independents, Democrats, and even Republicans who recognize democracy is in jeopardy.

‘Getting better’

When Sen. Chuck Schumer said “everyday gets better for us” he is referring to the increasing number of Americans understanding and support for keeping health care costs affordable. Perhaps listen to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who now understands and supports the Democratic position.

Zombie

Not sure I’d call Republicans uninformed while Democrats hid a zombie in the White House for four years. When exposed, you stuffed your head in the sand like a ostrich.

Obamacare

President Trump is saying how horrible Obamacare is. My husband has been on it for several years, and it’s been just as good as his old corporate run insurance.

Term limits

All three branches of the government is controlled by Republicans. Would this not be the perfect time to introduce term limits for Congress?
