Please be safe
With how drivers are behaving this week, a crash like Tuesday night’s was bound to happen. Please be safe out there.
More police?
I’m old enough to remember when there were armed officers pretty much every 20 feet during Spring Break. Seeing how the Cruisers are behaving on our roads makes me wonder why there hasn’t been a similar police display.
More ICE, please
It makes no sense for politicians to interfere with ICE operations. We voted for strong immigration control and a secure border. If you’re here illegally you got to go. What’s the problem here?
‘School choice’
School choice is just segregation by another name. They want taxpayer money to send their kids to private schools. Here’s a novel idea, give all students a quality education. A poor neighborhood school can be just as successful if they are given the tools and the money.
Early voting
The Virginia Attorney General election should demonstrate the negative effects of having early voting, legitimate absentees excluded. Open mail-in ballots are subject to fraud. Information about candidates can be found out just before the voting deadline that could reverse results with new verifiable developments. A week or two would be more reasonable, with complete knowledge of candidates.
Moss Point
A police department that doesn’t have the city leadership behind it may as well shut down completely. In Moss Point, there could be some racism involved, as well. Residents should vote with their safety in mind.
AG Bondi
It was disgraceful to watch Attorney General Pam Bondi refuse to answer a senior senator’s questions at her hearing, where she was called to defend her attacks on the judicial process. She made it clear she has one job, and it’s not protecting democracy. Gone are the days of the Department of Justice being a neutral organization defending democracy. Physical finger illustration aside, her words and mannerisms said it all.
