Sec. Hegseth

I did find it “hilarious” and expected to see a post conveniently omitting the fact Pete Hegseth is a war veteran, instead only referring to him as a TV personality.

For sale

To the “Carny-in-Chief” writer: What a bunch of mish-mash. Just do as I do: I don’t pay attention to all that, and I also don’t purchase any of it.

Happened again

Another mass shooting! As long as divisive rhetoric continues, these shootings will continue. Isn’t the message of love and unity better? Love others as you do yourself. That is the foundation of Christianity; or it should be.

Quantico speeches

Nobody has to “try awfully hard“ to make the meeting of military leaders, Sec. Hegseth and President Trump into “something bad.“ Even if we assume that any of that garbage had to be said, it could’ve been said over Zoom for nearly zero cost. Hegseth could’ve still gone back and forth across the stage like Mick Jagger and Trump could’ve still been incoherent.

Suggestion

This is a suggestion for this betterment of citizens of Harrison County. It would be more effective for disposing hazardous waste (paint, old gasoline, etc) if each city maintained a collection spot for citizens to drop off their hazardous waste locally, rather than individuals making the trip to Lorraine Road in Gulfport on the second Saturday of every month.

Shutdown responsibility

A writer blames Republicans for the shutdown, accusing them of not negotiating. All the Democrats had to do was pass the continuing resolution to avoid the shutdown, so that the negotiating could continue. It’s the Dems who rather have the shutdown, rather than continue negotiating.

Too vengeful

I think we would have been better off if President Trump won reelection in 2020 and not in 2024. He is just too vengeful this time around.
