It’s not even Halloween yet
I was in the Waveland Lowe’s last week, and they had Christmas items for sale. I’m not going to shop there until next year.
Staying sane
Everyone has a filter or lens through which we see the world around us. Our sanity depends on it, mental health is as important as physical health. Go outside and take a walk, talk to someone now.
Great speech
Awesome job by Sec. Hegseth and President Trump giving our military its marching orders. No more fat and woke generals.
Fat generals
Does the Secretary of War’s new prohibition against fat Generals and Admirals apply to the Commander In Chief?
President at Quantico
I challenge anyone to listen to the full speech by our Commander in Chief to all our military leaders and not scratch their head in disbelief. Very political and a great tribute to himself.
Hegseth’s speech
As a retired military officer, I carefully listened to the entire speech that Sec. Hegseth gave to the 800 senior leaders. Content aside, he did well. The big takeaway was his strategies won’t work. He forgot that we are a volunteer military. His new tightening policies on grooming, mandatory daily physical fitness, are a recruiting killer, as is women having to meet all male standards. The only way his strategy would work is mandatory military service for all.
About time
Simply put, anyone fighting for our country should feel fully secure that the man or woman beside him (or her) meets the strictest of physical standards. There should be no reduced standard for any man or woman.
