I hope Cruisin’ The Coast promoters remind their participants to stay in the right lane on our highways as much as possible. Locals need to get to work, doctor’s visits, school and so forth.
Who to blame?
Now, the narrative is the Mormon church massacre was an attack on Christians. It was due to hate of anyone not like them. President Trump and his followers preach hate whenever they can spin it when something happens.
That didn’t take long
To the writer who said that right-wing folks weren’t running around out there killing people, I offer you this past weekend.
Another one
Another mass shooting in a church by a white terrorist. You can’t hide the alarmingly high actual incidents. You can under report it though. Doesn’t make it go away.
Here we go
I’m sure we’ll have a bunch of bleeding-hearts rushing to Sound Off to say “see.” What we have is a problem with mental health in this country. And no amount of finger-wagging is going to change that being the biggest problem. Not President Trump and not the guns.
VA care
The VA was not touched by DOGE. It was off limits, but it sounds as if you too have a problem with appointments. Or maybe you just hate Trump. Either way you should be honest with yourself.
Autopen photo
I found it to be very juvenile and petty for Trump to remove President Biden’s portrait from the wall with all other Presidents. He had the portrait replaced with a portrait of the autopen, which Trump or his cronies have also used. The Trump administration acts more like a bunch of third-graders than adult leaders of the country.
Troll on, Mr. President
Honestly, I found it hilarious that President Trump put up a photo of an autopen instead of Joe Biden. Another option would have been a photo of his wife, who was actually running things.
Honoring icons
If flags were flown at half mast because Charlie Kirk was an American icon, then surely they should also be flown at half mast when Willie Nelson dies.
Not a household name
Charlie Kirk may have been an “American icon,” but I doubt I’m the only one who never heard of him before he was shot.
Ignorance
Reading the news, political, scientific, economic, etc., makes me realize how ignorant I am. Reading Sound Offs makes me realize there are people even more ignorant than I am.
Money matters
We are selling visas for $100,000 now. There are a lot of criminals who can afford this fee. So, let them in. If you are poor and seek asylum you are out of luck.
Laying down the law
I love that Secretary Hegseth and President Trump are bringing in all our top military leaders. This is a chance to make it clear what the administration’s priorities are. And anyone that’s not on board, can just head home from there.
