Stranger than fiction

I just had to share a rather amusing and eventful incident that occurred this week. It’s one of those stories that you simply can’t make up. In just one day, we witnessed a man struggling to pronounce the word “acetaminophen,” which was quite a spectacle on its own. This is the same man who once suggested that you could prevent COVID by drinking bleach. As if that wasn’t enough, this individual went on to criticize the United Nations General Assembly over some technical difficulties – namely, an escalator and a Teleprompter that had stopped working. The cherry on top was his proclamation that he single-handedly stopped seven wars and saved the world. These events brought a smile to my face, and then I remembered, this is the leader of the free world. It’s a reminder that sometimes, reality is stranger than fiction.

Turning Point

The killing of Charlie Kirk has served only to make Turning Point even stronger than it was. Charlie Kirk’s words and mission will, thankfully, live on. Perhaps even greater than before.

I remember

No recent shootings by a right-wing nut job? I guess the June 15 slayings in Minnesota aren’t recent enough for you.

What is recent?

Seeing people’s Sound Offs, it’s clear President Trump’s supporters just make things up. Someone says no recent murders are from the right. The congresswoman from Minnesota was murdered by a MAGA supporter. That was a few months ago. That qualifies as recent. The arson attack on the Pennsylvania governor was recent. You can’t make up facts.

What’s the difference?

So I keep seeing Sound Offs saying Nancy Pelosi is fair game because she’s a politician. Is that a hunting reference from the far right? By this logic, are Republican politicians also fair game? So we see which side encourages hate and violence. For that matter, what made Charlie Kirk special? He was a podcaster.

President Autopen

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen anything funnier than the new celebration of presidents at the White House including a photo of Joe Biden’s autopen instead of him.

Clearly intentional

So we’re supposed to believe that the escalator and the Teleprompter just happened to start working when President Trump arrived at the UN? Ridiculous.

UN nonsense

We are the most important member of the UN, and this is how our leader is treated?

Vendetta

President Trump’s personal vendetta against anyone who enforces rule of law against him continues. Apparently, he can’t accept his many previous criminal convictions and valid charges brought against him. He is so publicly hateful he fired one of his own appointed AGs because they couldn’t find evidence against one of his targets.

Move on? We have

Saw a Sound Off saying Jimmy Kimmel is back, and to relax until Barack Obama says what to do next. We had our beliefs, Obama supported them. We don’t have a cult leader. We have moved on. Nobody is flying an Obama flag.. The only people stuck on Obama are the racists.

The VA

Imagine if the Veterans Administration delivered quality health care? The people who work for the VA would receive their health care where they work and be proud of it. Yet they do not.

History quiz

What country punishes and prosecutes people who disagree with the government, detains people without habeas corpus, appoints unqualified political cronies into high ranking government jobs, and uses the military to enforce the will of its ego-maniacal leader?
