I appreciate WLOX showing Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. While I don’t care for his show, I do care for his right to not have the government interfere in it.

Nancy Pelosi is fair game. A career politician with only personal gain as her goal, never once extended an olive branch. Her insider trading tops all except maybe her rotten hate for President Trump.

Fact or fiction?

I was recently reflecting on the series of events that have taken place in our country since Jan. 20, 2025, and it struck me that John Grisham should consider writing a book about all the craziness that has happened. While his works are primarily fictional, they often contain elements that mirror real places and events. This new book could be his first foray into the world of biography, and I have no doubt it would quickly become a bestseller. Imagine the intrigue and excitement of a Grisham novel, but with the added twist of being based on true events! I think it would make for a captivating read and offer a unique perspective on the times we’ve been living through.

Far-left propaganda?

If the writer in the Tuesday edition believes Kirk’s killer was indoctrinated by far-left propaganda, does he likewise believe that the attack on Mr. Pelosi, the murder of the Minnesota legislator and her husband and shooting of two others, the murders of black and Jewish attendees at religious and other such right-wing actions are the result of indoctrination by far-right propaganda?
