Sen. Schiff
During a Senate hearing this week, the FBI Director told Sen. Adam Schiff what we’ve all been thinking for years. Since the Russia hoax, he’s been nothing but a political buffoon.
Voices in his head
I don’t understand how Robert Kennedy Jr. can remain in the job President Trump gave him over the CDC. He is firing people that make decisions based on scientific research and historical data instead of signing off on his ideas based on the voices in his head. Sometimes the clowns in the car aren'’ so funny.
Hate speech
Trump’s Attorney General, Pam Bondi, wants to prosecute people for “hate speech.” How ironic that President Trump pardoned Jan. 6 rioters who made these quotes: “Sieg Heil!”, “Civil War”, “What the British did to DC will be nothing...”, “Clinton, Obama, Jerry Nadler and Nancy Pelosi, should be hanged”, “they are “pieces of garbage”, “There will be blood”, “Welcome to the revolution”, “if you voted for (expletive) treason we’re going to drag your (expletive) through the streets”, “I will (expletive) die for this, but before I do that, I plan on making other people die first, for their country, if it gets down to that”, “So if you want to know where I stand, I stand for violence.” AG Bondi, is this not “hate speech”?
Fire them all?
So, to make sure I understand, the folks who spent an awful lot of time making fun of the deaths of Trayvon Martin and George Floyd, not to mention the attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband, are all now very mad online over folks making expressing joy over Charlie Kirk’s death? Is that right?
Say what?
President Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform, “Looks like we’ve lost India and Russia to deepest, darkest, China. May they have a long and prosperous future together!” I hope they have a short and disastrous future together. A long and prosperous future for them would be disastrous for peace, freedom, and democracy around the world.
Political violence
I am a Republican who agrees with the writer that President Trump can be childish and petty with his nicknames and insults. But are you saying that justifies political violence? Is that a reason to celebrate anyone’s assassination? Are you implying it’s okay to kill someone after you have been “enraged/offended” in a traffic incident? Where does this logically end?
Not a unifier
All previous presidents, Democrat and Republican, wisely call for a cooling of political violence when a single mentally disturbed individual kills or maims a politician, but not this one. On FOX News he immediately throws a log onto the MAGA supporters’ fire, blaming his so-called “radical left” instead of the mentally ill killer. He should unify us, not generate hostility. His actions do not make America great again.
