Charlie Kirk

The radical left has murdered Charlie Kirk, but the movement is now unstoppable. Conservative values are now at the forefront, with more young people on board than ever. His legacy lives on.

Assassination

I’ve posted many times the left wants to shut down speech with which they don’t agree. This has happened dozens of times when a conservative scheduled to speak at a university was not allowed to speak. The assassination of Charles Kirk is just another example. Our democracy is in serious danger as the left continues to do its very best to take away our freedoms.

Deep state

Well, the deep state finally got one. What a said day in America. You may have opened the biggest Pandora’s Box ever seen. Rest in peace, Mr. Charlie Kirk. May God bless your family.

A sad day

The vitriol from the left has claimed Charlie Kirk as a victim. Let’s pray nobody else is next.

Now it’s a problem?

It didn’t seem like political attacks were that big a deal when it was Nancy Pelosi’s husband being attacked with a hammer or a Minnesota legislator being gunned down in her sleep. Gosh, wonder what is so different about this one?

Political violence

While scanning cable news channels, one thing stood out. There is a constant barrage of visceral attacks on anyone who says or writes anything negative regarding President Trump, even though truthful. This is especially true with talk shows. Reputable journalists are called “hacks” and liars. Across government, NSA, FBI, etc., if you intellectually disagree with Trump you are quickly labeled as “disloyal” and fired. These are dangerous times when free speech results in losing your livelihood.

Only cares about one side

President Trump complained about our flags being lowered too long for Jimmy Carter, but for the media influencer Charlie Kirk, he immediately responded. He only responds to tragedies that affect people who he likes.

Family man

Charlie Kirk wasn’t a firebrand, he was a good man. A family man who built Turning Point USA and debated ideas head on.

Hate leads to murder

It’s a macabre and ironic tragedy that Charlie Kirk was assassinated just hours before this entire country remembers our nation’s greatest tragedy and honors the fallen of 9/11. Both were hate crimes and acts designed to inflict terror, cowardice and fear on our public conscience. Both acts have the goal and motivation to destroy something and someone.

PDS

I am amused each time I see a Trump supporter gleefully zing a Trump critic for having TDS. A few years ago, Republicans were afflicted by ODS, Obama Derangement Syndrome. Apparently the more basic disease, PDS, Presidential Derangement Syndrome, is highly contagious and passed from party to party no matter who is in office. It causes juvenile behavior, but it obviously doesn’t afflict only juveniles.

TDS

Trump Derangement Syndrome is not an affliction of the people observing a behavior; it is the behavior itself. The most recent example is President Trump minimizing domestic abuse as “a little fight with the wife,” during a speech at, of all places, the D.C. Museum of the Bible.

School prayer

This country, for Europeans, was populated by immigrants seeking refuge from religious persecution. So, if we bring back prayer in schools, which version of god will be prayed to? It would have to be silent prayer to be constitutional.
