Representation

Ward 2 in Gulfport needs a Councilperson to represent our interest. Apparently Ron Rowland is not going to complete rehabilitation for some time. We need a councilperson now.

Over the top

Netflix and Paramount are in a bidding war over Warner Brothers. Warner Brothers is the parent company of CNN. Why does it matter? President Trump is killing public broadcasting and any media that opposes his views with truths. He just stated that he will work with the DOJ on the merger. Wow. Yet another move towards one U.S. media source: Trump State News Media.

Vouchers

No accountability, no money. Public money belongs in public schools. This is obscene.

Clubs in schools

The problem with the proposed club at GHS is its unspecified mission. Turning Point is being used to promote hateful racial ideas and theories. If you want your kid indoctrinated with this, do it at home.

It’s quite simple

The students at Gulfport have every right to a Club America chapter, as long as they meet the requirements. A bunch of non-students and busybodies can complain all they want.
