In this photo made Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, a driver stays in the passing lane as traffic accumulates behind along I-70 in Montgomery County, Mo. Many states have laws against driving in the left lane except for passing or turning left, which are often ignored by drivers, leading to annoying and dangerous bottlenecks that some experts say are as bad as driving too fast because people get trapped behind and become frustrated prompting some to drive more aggressively.

Left lane

Thank you, Sun Herald, for clarifying when it is appropriate to use the left lane on roadways. “According to the law in Mississippi: No one should drive on the left side unless to pass.” Now let’s hear from all the drivers who believe it’s ok to drive below the speed limit in the left lane, and keep your blinking turning light on for miles. If you don’t believe this, please read the statute yourself.

Law and Order

As a supporter of law and order its hard to understand why all of Congress won’t publicly support release of the entire Epstein file, like a few courageous Republican members. Apparently the members in Congress are terrified of President Trump’s (and Speaker Johnson”s) retaliation. Trump has already been convicted of sexual assault, this should be a no-brainer. It’s a sad state Congress members can”t vote their moral mind for fear of losing their job.

Something will stick

If President Trump keeps throwing enough garbage out there, eventually something will distract the masses from the Epstein files. I mean, it’s worked every time in the past.

Winning

Donald Trump has accomplished more in six months than most presidents do in eight years.

Too soon

I was just in Lowe’s in Waveland., and they have Halloween items on display in that store. Yuck. It’s still July.

Team names

Just one question: Why is the President of the United States even talking about re-naming the Washington football team and the Cleveland baseball team?

Show it all

After seeing the gaudy salaries of a very few Coast high school football coaches (Gulfport, where I live, $105K, those 9 losses out of only 22 games is not changing the culture as he promised), let’s see the rest of the reason why we don’t have money for classroom teachers. Too many assistant principals, principals, lead teachers and. in Harrison County’s case. an administrative building with way too many folks walking around, pulling down way more than those hard-working teacher/coaches/bus drivers.

Work to do

Gulfport’s new mayor has many issues to address, but two glaring problems needing immediate attention are derelict buildings all over town and the four lanes on Dedeaux Road from 605 to Three Rivers.

Defacing the flag

All you people who fly blue/black flags, or any image or text on it, are defacing the American flag. That’s way more disrespectful than taking a knee.

Good point

I’m glad to hear that someone admits President Obama deported large numbers of illegal immigrates. There was no protesting because he did it humanely and legally. There was no masked ICE agents or concentration camps. Children were not separated from their parents. Arrests were not made at churches, and other private places just for a photo-op or a quota.

Funny stuff

Kamala Harris posted on X, celebrating the one year anniversary of the launch of her failed presidential campaign. That’s chutzpah right there.

Why is it?

If the Epstein list is full of Democrats and Republicans alike, which I believe, then why is it only one side is fighting to keep the list private?
