Winning
The past week the Trump administration has seen wide ranging victories. From the Supreme Court ruling on liberal judges stopping the voters wishes to NATO members increasing their spending. Iran is toast, too.
(Not) Made in America
President Trump’s marketing site for the mobile phones he is selling has removed its “Made in America” claims. Guess why? Because it’s not, and never will be, made in America.
Single mothers
The headline read, “Single Mother and Biloxi Veteran Gifted Car.” I couldn’t be prouder of anyone who honorably serves our country. And my hat is off to every mother who takes good care of her children. Single mothers, however, are not automatic heroes. Society’s assumption is that “bad fathers cause single mothers,” but, often, mothers make bad choices that result in their single-motherhood. Drugs, alcohol, premarital sex, unprotected sex or even just “having to have the bad boy.” Good for all the people and companies who contributed to this veteran and mom getting a car.
Great job
A big “Thank you!” to meteorologist Eric Jeansonne of WLOX for not just reporting the weather but explaining its elements and dynamics so clearly.
Some peacemaker
The President who ran on ending all wars on Day 1 has opened Pandora’s war box. Russia and others are now offering to help Iran gain nuclear weapons. The enriched uranium at the bombed site was likely removed as indicated by satellite imagery showing an unusual alignment of dozens of tractor trailers at the site days before the strike. The military conducted a flawless, but unnecessary attack. Israel had the war well in hand. It was a safer world before Trump pulled us out of the Obama peace accord.
Dumbing down
Why does the media keep referring to our budget bill as a beautiful bill? What does beautiful have to do with financing our government? It’s an insult to anyone with any intelligence.
Trash dump
Renter property owners should not be allowed to dump contents of evictions without requesting pick up from the city. Often these piles blow away or get rained on.
