Attack on Iran

Our service members did a great job in planning and delivery. It won’t be their fault if the munitions weren’t quite up to the task, though let’s all hope they were. Penetrating 250 to 400 feet of solid granite is a tough order.

Crying wolf

I’d sure love to believe what the president and administration officials are saying about the attack on Iran. But given the number of times we’ve been lied to, that sure is tough to do.

Finally

It’s about time America stood up to Iran. Great job, President Trump, in letting the world know there are consequences for actions.

Incredible

The idea that New York City is one election away from being led by a Muslim Democratic Socialist is, frankly, mind-boggling.

Good luck with that

The Democrats’ first big election win in forever comes in New York City and from a Democratic Socialist. Let’s see how that plays out on a bigger stage. Guess the only good thing you can say is that he’s not 90 years old.

Shameless

Sec. Hegseth today stated he has not viewed intelligence showing the enriched uranium was moved from the bombed site prior to strike? The Iranian leadership says it moved the uranium after Israel’s initial airstrikes well before the U.S. strike. CNN showed the satellite photos of dozens of tractor trailers at the site days before the U.S strike. Sec. Hegseth is purposely downplaying/avoiding the obvious truth to make President Trump happy.

Made for TV

Hire a bunch of TV “stars” to lead the country and this is what you get. Sec. Pete Hegseth screaming at the media for ... reporting the news. An administration mad because someone had the temerity to leak the truth of the Iran bombing.

Christian values

Please explain to me how Speaker Mike Johnson from Louisiana, who is a professed born-again Christian, can take food assistance and medical care from the poor and transfer those savings to the very wealthy and still be a Christian? I must have missed it when Jesus said ”Go ye amongst the poor and get rich.”

Medicaid

I’m looking forward to seeing exactly how much Medicaid is cut in the Big, Beautiful Bill. Because we’ve been promised for years that it wouldn’t be touched.

Sports gambling

Money has infected sports in this country. The salaries are crazy high and now with NIL, in our high schools. But the real danger is the casino in everyone’s pocket that 39 states allow gambling on anything and everything.

The same

What do Trump and Ayatollah Ali Khamenei have in common? They’re both delusional, as both are claiming victory over the other’s country after the B2 bombing, and both want their citizens to live the delusion.

Traffic

I am truly sorry that Biloxi has reelected the same bozos that continue to bring us impossible traffic situations during big events.

No Kings

After more thorough investigation, the number of Americans at the No Kings peaceful protests is now up to more than 13 million. Trump says that 250,000 people attended his military parade. If you saw clips of violent protests, you were fooled by right-wing media. They lie, and Fox had to pay $787.5 million in fines in 2023 for lying to the American people. I would say that after many years of putting up with President Trump, the people have finally spoken.
