Sun Herald readers weigh in on local and national topics.

It’s about time

The bombing of Iran should have happened years ago. I’m thankful we have a president who didn’t stand in the way.

Iran

America is finally a true friend to Israel again. The results are incredible to see.

Israel and Iran

Don’t be fooled that President Trump didn’t sanction Israel’s attack on Iran. One of Trump’s first actions was to pull us out of our peace agreement. Remember the U.S. provides Israel over $3B annually for its defense. Apparently both Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu want to be oligarchs. If Israel’s attack results in escalations, the U.S. will say Israel acted alone. If the attacks topple Iran and bring peace, Trump will take credit.

Uneven justice

All this outrage over undocumented immigrants, but not a word about the businesses that employ them.

Flip-flopping

President Trump wants states to handle disasters and abortion issues, but he readily interferes in California’s affairs. Use of the national guard is supposed to be controlled by governors. Will Trump overstep every time there is a protest?

Why attack California?

Why do people bash California? Red states have a higher murder rate, per capita. California gives $80 billion more to the federal government than its gets. California taxes its richest people at a lower rate than Florida and Texas tax their poorest. I read the Sound Offs about California and what comes to mind is jealousy and envy.

Amused

It amazes me how so many are outraged over the protestors in California yet see nothing wrong with the protesters on Jan. 6.
