Memorial Day
Memorial Day is a holiday, but it’s also a time to honor all those who didn’t make it back home.
Salute
As a 76-year-old veteran, watching President Trump, a 5-time draft dodger, hold a salute makes me want to puke.
No sense
Grocery stores cannot sell liquor on Sunday, but you can buy it at any restaurant. Now they are proposing selling liquor at the waterpark. Wasn’t this an issue that Christians rallied behind not so long ago? It seems like issues become political only when luring constituents to come out and vote.
Here’s an idea
Why has DOGE not touched the USPS? I don’t need junk mail delivered six days a week.
Did you cheer then?
I wonder if all the people saying the courts are overstepping their authority felt that way when President Biden’s executive orders were overturned? If the president can’t forgive student loans, he shouldn’t be able to fire people without cause. He shouldn’t be able to arrest people without warrants. The law applies to both parties. Stop playing football politics where you only want penalties called on the other team.
Commander-in-nonsense
President Trump’s speech at West Point was embarrassing. He uses off-the-wall topics to cover up his lack of knowledge for the many issues he knows nothing about. He should just stick to his script.
MAGA
How nice it is to have a president more concerned about the status of Americans, and not the rest of the world.
