Shrinking seawall

Our protective seawall has shrunk in height because of sand piled in for beaches as a draw for tourists. What a shame that it means more to our Coast governing bodies. It was so obvious in a recent obituary photo of a young lady sitting at the bottom of the seawall.

Sad

“I’d like mustard.“ The waitress at Luckies in VanCleave smiled and retrieved a container of mustard and gave it to the female customer. “And a fork.“ Lily smiled as she brought back the fork, too. I asked my excellent waitress, Amaya, how many times a day she hears the word, “please.“ She said, “Not many.“ I guessed Amaya to be about 17 years old. I asked her if she used the word. “Oh, yes. And thank you. It’s sad, but, it’s the world we live in.“ Yes, Amaya, it is sad. And Scott was correct to give Luckies a high rating.

I’m confused

President Trump just made a deal to build a massive AI center in Dubai. What happened to MAGA? Are we exporting people over there to work?

Tit for tat

Why would someone want to post 86 47? Who wouldn’t? Please remember President Trump was the one that said Liz Cheney should go before a firing squad. Tell me how that’s different. Except she was the patriot who did her job. His “day of love” supporters shouted “Hang Mike Pence.” Comey shared a meme. The deep state is the one Trump created.

Waste and fraud

Why is there such opposition to someone finding the misuse of taxpayers money? If it’s true, then that is grand. If false, then nothing is lost. Elon Musk and his team are not being paid a dime. Perhaps you are upset because something is being done when other administrations promised but never followed through.

Intelligence

Very intelligent people learn from everyone and everything. Intelligent people learn mostly from experience. Unintelligent people already know everything.

Roll back lies

Elon Musk had to delete lies from his website because he cited several falsehoods about his results. Seems like someone fact checked his “achievements.”
