Be thankful
We have a problem — not of poverty or oppression, but of perspective. We are living in a time of unparalleled abundance, yet too many of us act as if we’re oppressed by prosperity. Think about it: in the United States, the poor own cars, have smartphones, and access to endless information and opportunity. We complain while sipping $6 lattes, typing angry tweets on devices that connect us instantly to the world. We whine about inequality while enjoying more comfort, safety, and freedom than 99% of humanity throughout history could ever dream of. The truth is, we’re not suffering from injustice—we’re suffering from ingratitude. We’ve mistaken convenience for entitlement and abundance for oppression. It’s time to wake up, look around, and recognize how incredibly good we have it.

Cock fighting is illegal. It involves gambling, drinking and usually drugs. Cockfighting is violent and bloody and the birds fight until death.
He’s awake
Joe Biden gave his first post-presidential interview to the BBC. Yes, of course it was scripted, that’s obvious. Regardless, he’s as confused as ever, and his policies still haunt us.
Superwomen
While transgender athletes are subject to being disallowed by current federal administration efforts to compete in women’s sports — because of perceived unfair enhanced athletic capability, it seems transgenders should be encouraged to participate in our military, where increased capability ought to be welcomed.
Veterans Day
I just can’t believe that we are letting a draft-dodger rename Veterans Day. All you vets who were slogging through the jungle, just remember that President Trump was having a good time, thanks to bone spurs that know one has ever seen the X-rays of.
No wars
Donald Trump made it very clear that Russia would never have invaded Ukraine if he were in charge. Well, we just had a nuclear power (India) lob bombs at another nuclear power (Pakistan). Guess Mr. Art of the Deal wasn’t able to stop that one, huh?
