Why no wine?

I was in a local grocery store during the recent Spring Break and noticed four girls in college shirts buying several cases of a soda drink I was not familiar with. They told me the drink contains THC and drinking three will get you stoned. Simply amazing, but our state still prevents grocery stores from selling wine. If this issue was voted on, the vote would be over overwhelming in favor of wine in grocery stores.

Too late

I’m no expert, but it seems if too much fresh water from the Bonnet Carre Spillway gets into the Mississippi Sound, it’s a little late for a test, don’t you think? Come on, Corps of Engineers.

First 100 days

The first 100 days of President Trump has been exactly what America voted for. Promises on the campaign are being kept. We are safer, stronger and better off. Democrats do nothing but hate and protest.

Accomplishments

I think it’s only right and fair to complement President Trump on his many accomplishments in his first 100 days. There is increased security at our Southern border, the tanking of the stock market, the renaming of the Gulf of Mexico and the return of plastic straws. Great work, Mr. President.

Kudos

President Trump deserves praise for honoring his campaign promises, especially his bold stance against corruption, which has resonated with the public and restored some trust in leadership. However, while his commitment to transparency is commendable, directly exposing misconduct in the legislature without offering a path to redemption or reform may corner his opponents. This could provoke retaliation from entrenched interests who feel threatened, potentially undermining his broader agenda. A strategic balance of accountability and diplomacy will be key to sustaining both progress and political stability.

True diplomats

Joe Biden to Vladimir Putin: “Don’t.” Donald Trump to Vladimir Putin: “Stop.” To quote that famous philosopher Ron White, “You can’t fix stupid.”

FEMA

If Arkansas can’t get federal support, I shudder to think what would happen to us if a hurricane were to strike the Coast.
