Priorities

President Trump spent 14 hours on his trip to attend the funeral of Pope Francis. Wearing a blue suit, while other leaders wore black, he said he needed to get back to the U.S. so he could play golf. Has he no shame? What a dichotomy; Pope Francis was a humble man who was respected and revered by the leaders of most countries, while Donald Trump is an egotistical tyrant who prioritizes playing golf over peace and diplomacy. The Catholic Church may forgive his arrogance, but I find his actions disrespectful and embarrassing.

Help the homeless

Jon Bon Jovi donated $500,000 to help build a new apartment facility for homeless veterans in Washington D.C. Why can’t our cities invest in housing for the homeless?

Suckers

Just for fun, President Trump’s online sales site placed a new hat for sale. He’s trolling liberal far-left Democrats. They bit, hook, line and sinker. Panic has boiled into the media, which was the plan.

Due process

Tell the family of Laken Riley about due process. Mention that to all those affected by those who entered the country illegally.

Noise pollution

Why are vehicles with no mufflers or modifications to their exhaust systems allowed on Gulfport streets? We pay exorbitant taxes for public safety and peaceful neighborhoods. Shouldn’t these immature drivers be ticketed and forced to pay their fair share in fines for disturbing our peace? That might be the incentive they need to become socially responsible neighbors.

Help for who?

The president has denied Arkansas’ request for Tornado damage. Child care aid for working families in Mississippi is at risk. Government health/disease scientists have been fired because they were recently hired. Gold sneakers are part of Trump merchandise for sale. Meme coins worth billions in total are promoted with a chance to dine with the president at Mar-a-lago. Presidential announcements on tariffs inflate and deflate the stock market, leaving it vulnerable to insider trading. This president says he is for the working people, but his actions do not support that. He is using the power of the office to enrich himself and inflate his ego, not to help working people.

A joke

How ridiculous it is for President Trump to claim he only weighs 225 pounds. He’s got 50 pounds hanging over his belly.
