Can’t be trusted
If there is one thing President Trump has shown to be unquestionably true, it is this: The man can not be trusted.
Trump’s love
Nothing has changed with President Trump. He still loves America and puts her above all others. The media, just like his last term, will do anything to destroy her. The hate is breathtaking.
Judge’s arrest
Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan mislead ICE agents and then snuck a illegal immigrant out the back door of the courthouse. She was arrested. She should be disbarred.
Just great
On a scale of 1 to total and complete fascism, could someone tell me where arresting judges lands? Because I’m pretty sure it’s closer to the latter than the former.
Spillway
The Mississippi River has experienced major floods for 1,000’s of years, historically spreading across natural wide floodplains to dissipate energy and deposit sediment. Post-1800s levee construction, accelerated after the catastrophic 1927 flood, has confined the river to a narrow channel. The current levee system spans over 2,200 miles disconnecting the river from 80% of its natural floodplain. This containment forces floodwaters higher, increasing risks. To manage surges, engineered spillways like Bonnet Carré divert water into Lake Pontchartrain and then into the Gulf of Mexico, protecting cities but altering the ecosystems of the lake and the gulf. The Mississippi River floods we see today are not ‘natural’ floods but are created by our depriving the river of its natural floodplains.
Off the rails
President Donald Trump’s presidency is running off the rails much more than in his first term. His priority remains self-enrichment and avoiding jail. The scatterbrained damage he is wreaking on our country and democracy will reverberate long into the future. Surely, some Trump voters have buyer’s remorse.
Pardon
I’m sure if President Trump catches wind of someone being arrested and accused of assaulting a 74-year-old woman in his defense, he’ll pardon him ASAP.
