Shameful bigotry
The response from police during Black Spring Break was an overreaction and waste of taxpayers’ money. There were over 10 police cars with blue lights outside of an events venue in Gulfport. Ocean Springs had a checkpoint at the Government Street entrance. Biloxi had more policemen on display than attendees.
Coal dollars
The New York Times asked, “Why has coal use declined?” It’s the wrong question. The correct question is, “Why does President Trump not recognize and respond to what everybody else already knows about coal?” Follow the money.
Wall Street
OK, everyone, settle down about your precious 401(k)s. Everything is going to be just fine.
Silence is golden
I can’t be the only person who thinks that not only does Walmart not need a jibber-jabber DJ, they don’t even need the horrible music they choose. or any music, for that matter.
No worry
President Trump is threatening revenge on governors who opposed him, but we have nothing to worry about in Mississippi. Our Quisling governor is sufficiently submissive. For now.
The border
Isn’t it nice to have a border that isn’t wide open again?
Communism OK now?
As I read about the Vietnam War and the politics surrounding it, I wonder what these Vietnam vets feel about their president embracing Russia. The “reason” for the war was to stop communist aggression. Ukraine is being attacked by Russia, a communist country.
