OS had enough

Congratulations to Bobby Cox for winning the Ocean Springs mayor’s race. Ousting all the incumbents says a lot about this current administration.

There’s your message for what the voters think of the Holloway administration in Ocean Springs. A total blowout.

Thank heavens

Thank heavens and praise the Lord. As written earlier, Bobby Cox did crush Mayor Holloway by getting a whopping 74% of the vote. Now the ex-mayor can go back to selling real estate instead of selling the City of Ocean Springs down the river. Many of the other council members were kicked out of office also. What a great day for the city; a new beginning.

All for nothing

The voters in Wisconsin sure didn’t think much of Elon Musk and his candidate, huh?

Great job

Hats off to the National WWII Museum for celebrating all the “Rosies” last weekend who built airplanes and ships during that war and the Mississippi Public Radio for recognizing Women’s History Month. By the way, I’m an 81-year old man.

Civil Rights Museum

If you haven’t already visited the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum in Jackson you really should before is closes due to the current political movement to cancel all DEI supported programs. In my opinion this museum is the best in the country, exceeding the one in Birmingham and the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History in DC. These are state and federally supported museums. I spent three hours at the Jackson museum and could have spent another three if my legs didn’t get tired. Lots of great restaurants in that area too. Its really well worth the trip up there.
