It’s there

Everyday in Sound Off there’s a complaint about DOGE not giving you a list of where and how much money is being recovered. Go to doge.gov. It’s that easy. Stop with the lies.

OMB vs. DOGE

DOGE was created to cut government spending. This includes trying to get rid of thousands of federal workers, shuttering the U.S. Agency for International Development and accessing the Treasury Department’s enormous payment systems. The existing OMB’s mission is to assist the president in meeting his policy, budget, management and regulatory objectives and to fulfill the agency’s statutory responsibilities. Why not hold the OMB accountable instead of creating a new agency to perform the same function?

FEMA

Trump and Republicans want small government. It is impossible to have small government as long as we keep having hurricanes and tornadoes that destroy our homes. Right now, our government helps us out when we lose our homes. Trump is eliminating FEMA because he says the states can help people. States like Mississippi have no money to help people. That means that homeowners have to help themselves. How can homeowners help themselves when they have just lost everything? Don’t be so quick to applaud Trump for getting rid of government agencies that we need in the name of small government. It sounds good, but in reality it will be a nightmare the next time a hurricane or tornado hits us.

Russia

Mark my words: When, and if, Vladimir Putin agrees to peace talks those talks will no doubt fail. President Trump will back Putin no matter how one sided his plan and will blame President Zelenskyy.

Where’s Wicker?

I didn’t see Sen. Roger Wicker’s name on the bipartisan list of senators who spoke out in support of Ukraine.

Dems’ fault

The Republicans are in control of the White House. The Republicans are in control of the U.S. Senate. The Republicans are in control of the U.S. House of Representatives. But they’d like us to believe that, if there is a government shutdown, it’s the Democrats’ fault? Cute.

MAHA

Make America Healthy Again by rolling back environmental protections by the dozens? Beware of doublespeak.
