Making things happen

As I stand in the grocery store, staring at eggs that are more expensive than any time in human history, I’m comforted in knowing our president has acted quickly and decisively to ... change the names of the Gulf of Mexico and Fort Liberty. Thanks, Donald.

Winning

Inflation is up. The stock market is down. The price of eggs has doubled. Our allies no longer trust us and a trade war has begun. How much “winning” must we endure?

Insulting

What an unnecessary reach for someone to criticize Joe Biden for keeping a low profile. Generally speaking, few ex-presidents have much to say or do in the public eye after leaving office.

If it’s Monday ...

Are the tariffs on or off today? Because it sure seems like it changes every other day, depending on who is standing up to the bully-in-chief.

The press

I’ve been extremely disappointed by the American press’ tendency to acquiesce to Donald Trump’s insane notions. Going along with renaming the Gulf of Mexico, giving legitimacy to making Canada a state, “purchasing“ Greenland, and taking an international canal that doesn’t belong to us. The Fourth Estate cannot perform its intended function if it abets maniacal raving.

Our image

The U.S. has never been a peace-loving nation. The country was built on protests, rebellions, and conflicts. What is happening now is an escalation, but not out of character. We are just showing who we are.

Wonderful parade

Kudos to everyone involved in Biloxi’s parade on Tuesday. The weather held out just fine and I had a wonderful time. Thanks!
