The difference
You folks at the Sun Herald are starting to worry me. President Biden went to Delaware every chance to hide. President Trump plays golf because he’s able. Work on your Sound Offs, please.
Absurdity
California’s population bubble bursted decades ago from the influx of Hollywood cowboys, pop-music singers, and reality TV actors, way before one of them started exacerbating the immigration issue. And none of them know how to rake a forest.
Irony
President Trump and Elon Musk are removing federal employees’ ability to work from home. However, in the last 8 days, Trump has spent 4 of those days “working” from his golf course. That says it all.
Not qualified?
I read that to be a general officer in Sec. Hegseth’s military you must have a combat badge. It sure looks like General (and President) Eisenhower wouldn’t qualify, as he didn’t have the correct badge. If I were Sec. Hegseth, I’d pay a little better attention to an old Military axiom that “amateurs study tactics, professionals study logistics.”
Warped attention
There was a New York City courtroom gallery full of twisted, adoring females in support of Luigi Mangione, who’s accused of murdering United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson. He was a family man, unsuspectingly walking down the street when Mangione assassinated him. Those women, depraved and unhinged, would knock each other over to draw Mangione’s gaze and attention to pacify their fluttering hearts. Just think, they are loose in this world. They probably vote, but they cannot discern evil from good.
Stand up
Egypt and Jordan stood up to President Trump and he backed away from his nonsensical Gaza takeover plan. Zelinsky and reasonable US citizens should take a lesson from that move.
Typical
Elon Musk strutting around and hamming it up with a chainsaw is just par for the course in the Trump administration. Mass firings are not a joke to those trying to live through it. Where’s the empathy and compassion? Oh yeah, he’s a billionaire so he gets a free pass on acting like a decent human being.
